Jacqueline Hempstead of JDH Getaways

I am a mother of two, a daughter born in 2015 and a son recently born May of 2018; and, with a loving and supporting husband working in the financial services industry as a CFP.  I went into the banking industry after graduating from the University of California, San Diego.  In the 10+ years working in banking, I wore many hats, from a branch manager in the retail side to working as an analyst in the corporate side.  I decided I was ready to take a break in a very demanding work environment and left the banking world behind when I had my daughter.  It turns out that this has been even more demanding, raising two little ones while maintaining a household, and a business at home - but it has been very rewarding.  I never thought I would end up planning vacations for others.  What a great way to spend time while I dream up and plan for our own family vacations and bucketlist trips!  For those who had the pleasure of receiving services from my great mentor and friend, Carol Le-Bert Hinnant, she has retired from the travel industry to pursue her personal pleasures. It has so far been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to see how much more personal growth and development I make and help more people enrich their lives through travel.  Thank you for your continued support!!  Happy trails and safe travels!
